Marymount Manhattan Graduates Wear Caps and Gowns Made from 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Plastic Bottles!
Fewer plastic bottles will be choking our landfills because for every Marymount Manhattan student walking at commencement, an average of 23 plastic bottles was used to manufacture their cap and gown.
In the latest effort to go green on campus, the new line of graduation wear – named GreenWeaver – is made of fabric spun from molten plastic pellets. With some 60 million plastic bottles going into U.S. landfills every day, Marymount Manhattan is helping to turn trash into keepsakes.
There is no charge to the student for this order as the charges for attire are included in the Graduation Fee.
Regalia will be distributed at Commencement Packet Pick-up on Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
The last day to order online is Friday, March 23, 2018.
**Please note group orders will not be accepted. Only one complete package may be purchased per order.**
